Aerial Lift Cardada-Cimetta, Locarno, TI, Switzerland - Aerial Lifts on Waymarking.com

This gondola lift starts a few hundred meters North of the top station of the Orselina-Cardada lift at 1340 meters above sea level and takes you up to Cimetta at 1670 meters where you have wonderful view over the Northern part of Lago Maggiore in the South and the Swiss Alps in the North and West.

This is a popular starting point for hiking and paragliding. In Winter there is a small ski region.
The two lifts are usually closed for maintenance in November.
