There are several canoe route that start here at the Willow Creek Centennial Park. The park is just off Hwy 9 about 3 km south of Gimli, Manitoba.

There are four trips shown on the map here.
Trip 1 (1.5 km return) is a short, easy paddle down this gentle creek to a small bay off the creek.
Trip 2 (4.6 km return) is another easy paddle that turns off the creek into a boat channel that takes you to the community of Siglavik.
Trip 3 (6.0 km return) follows the creek and then a boat channel into a protected lagoon of Lake Winnipeg. There is a picnic area at Sand Beach and a little further east on Skunk Island.
Trip 4 (6.0 km return) will take you all the way down the creek to the open waters of Lake Winnipeg. Since storms can build quickly in the summer, Lake Winnipeg can be very dangerous.
Parking/put-in/launching information: There is parking for several cars here as well as a small dock and a picnic area.
