This elevater is located in the small farming community town of Hunnewell, Kansas. The elevator is used by all the local farmers and some travel to it from nearby Braman to unload their wheat there.

As you drive up HWY 77 you can see the elevator towering over the trees and as you turn off the highway there is a rest area with a history monument telling of the town back years ago. The elevator is in three sections with the weigh station and office in the center of the elevators. Across the street is the old foundation of saloon that was quite a history maker with gun fights and killings happening there.
