This M-725 Ambulance is displayed on the grounds of the 45th Infantry Division Museum in Oklahoma City, OK
The M-725 ambulance is a 1-1/4 ton vehicle manufactured by Kaiser Jeep and was in service from 1967 to 1980. Many of these vehicles have since been sold and are in use by municipal emergency services across the U.S.
The vehicle carries a crew of 2 and can transport 5 patients, or 8 walking wounded. Standard equipment included a surgical light, air ventilators, a gas heater and a sliding door between the cab and the rear compartment.
The vehicle is powered by a Kaiser Jeep 258 cid, 6-cyl, 150 hp gasoline engine and can reach a speed of 60 mph.
