The Jordantown Baptist Church was constructed in 1771, and part of the grounds was used as a burying ground. today, the church has long since disappeared, but about 45 of the graves remain. For many years, this cemetery sat long forgotten on the side of CR 551 in the middle of corn fields. On October 4, 2003, Matt Smick and the members of Troop 33 worked to trim the grounds, reset some stones, and being this cemetery back to a respectable condition "to honor those brave men and women who settled and raised their families here in Salem County."
