Dating to 1727-30 this statue was made for Henry Grey, Duke of Kent who was one of the De Grey family who lived at Wrest Park. It is possibly made by Nost and has an inscription on the plinth "King William the 3rd of Glorious and Immortal Memory".
The statue is made of lead and is painted white, it stands on a plinth. King William is dressed in Roman armour and has a long cloak over his shoulders and back. He wears a laurel wreath on his head and holds a baton.
The statue is Grade II Listed, since 10th January 1985.
