Best viewed in a boat, but also viewable from a trail on the Eastern side of the harbour this large trestle allows the Canadian National Railway trains to bridge this gap. Both commuter and freight trains use this route and travel in both ways.

Photos in the gallery were taken from a canoe during a paddle and show the newer bridge as well as supports from the former train bridge as well. Rumour has it that some people have climbed the former stone supports, and another rumour states that doing so is illegal.

Trains can be seen crossing at various times of the day and if you are lucky enough to be below in a boat it would be great to get some photos of trains.
