The POST CORNERS School is located at the intersection of Testin Rd. and State Highway 22. The property across the road was owned by the Post family so the school was named the Post Corners School. This school building was built in 1866 replaceing the old school building which was sold at action for $10.05. The school opened in September of 1866 and closed in May of 1944. The Post Corner school building was sold to a realtor in Wildrose, WI and he made it into a home. Adventually it was sold to a neighboring farmer and was used for housing for temperary laborers on the farm. The present owners of the building have renovated and the place looks very comfortable.
