Grove Hill was originally a homestead deeded to George Grove in 1873. The site's extremely high elevation of 1700ft lead to a fire tower being established here after the Grove's passing. Currently the site is maintained by Sherman Twp. as a small park enclosed by towering trees with a single picnic table and 4 stones marking the original Grove homestead.
