From Mount Carroll, at the intersection of US Hwy 52 and State Hwy 78, go 0.4 miles south to the intersection of State Hwy 40, go 1.0 miles east on Hwy 40 to mark on the south side of road. Mark is 1.3 feet north of a fence and 0.7 feet south of metal survey marker sign.
