The museum opened in February of 2010. It's located next to Bidwell Mansion, and is run by the CSU Chico's Department of Natural Sciences. The museum offers an array of different exhibits. Currently it feautures: Summer Science, Outdoor Eco-Regions, Ice Age Skeletons, Witness and River Voices.
