34th stone marker east from westernmost corner post of Ohio-Michigan state line.

Located north of Fulton County Road U east of County Road 13-1, at the Ohio-Michigan state line. Post is light gray granite 69 inches long 12 inches square with the top 18 inches dressed to 8 by 10 inches. Lettered on north side "MICHIGAN", on south side "OHIO", on east side "STATE LINE", and on west side "POST 34". Base of post embedded in concrete, top projects 18 inches above ground. This post is located in a cultivated field 113' north of the paved road. To Post 35, true bearing is N 87 14'00" E, at a distance of 5289.8 feet.
Also recovered near the post was an upside-down brown glass bottle, embedded in concrete. Obviously installed somewhat recently and much newer than the boundary post. See photos.
Nearest community is Lyons, Ohio, in Fulton County. To reach from the intersection of State Route 120 and Adrian Street in Lyons, proceed west on SR120 for 2.5 miles to CR 13-1. Turn north on CR 13-1 and proceed 1.0 mile to CR-U. Turn east on CR-U and the mark on the left. Mark is 113 feet north of the road edge, and is witnessed with a carsonite witness post, 2 round wood posts, and 2 smaller wood stakes.
