"This memorial is in tribute to Mesa College men who gave their lives for their country in World War II. It is made of concrete and brick, and features a navy victory bell donated by the United States Congress. A list of names of the men being honored appears on the north side of the memorial. The tower was designed by architect John Porter, and was dedicated on November 11, 1948." (from Mesa College Walking Tour.)
The area of this memorial is a walkway between buildings on the campus of Mesa College. There are several other memorials and art pieces nearby. The plaque reads "A tribute to Mesa College men who gave their lives for their country in World War II" followed by an alphabetical list of the men.
