The Thuringian state chancellery is the state office of the free state Thuringia in Germany. It's in the building of the 'Kurmainzische Statthalterei' (a ethnarchy) at the 'Hirschgarten' in the historic centre of Erfurt.

The state chancellery is the official residence of the Prime Minister of Thuringia.
In addition, the Thuringian ministry of federal affairs and European affairs, whose minister is at the same time also a boss of the state office, is attached to chancellery. Since 2009 Jürgen Schöning is that minister (impartially), Assistant Secretary is Peter Zimmermann.
Since 2009 Prime Minister is Christine Lieberknecht (CDU). The land headquarters for political education which is accommodated in the neighbouring building, is postordered the chancellery.
The state office is made up of five departments:
- central department
- principle affairs, department coordination
- federal affairs and european affairs
- public relations, protocol, international affairs
- representation at the alliance
Nearby, at the southern side of that builing, a small meadow is inviting you to take a rest. In the summer-month the fountain is also springing.
