The Museum of the Cherokee Indian is a woven basket of exhibits, audio, and artifacts to tell the story of the Eastern Band of Cherokee. The $3.5M facility was constructed in 1998. Fully air conditioned (good when we visted on 94F/34C day!). A group of Boy Scouts required around 1.5-2 hours to view the museum which is laid out as a single chronological path mixed with daily life and other information.
