The Clovis Tourist Information and Visitor's Center is located in Tarpey Depot, which was the Clovis Station on the Southern Pacific (Pollasky) Railroad. The depot was once located a few blocks away but later spent 25 years located in Kearny Park west of Fresno. It was moved back in 1999 a few blocks from its orignial location in order to become the Visitor's Center. The building was restored to it's former glory, and the site includes a plaza and benches. The Center is operated by the City of Clovis Business Development Office.
