This wonderful playground is located on the shores of Lake Superior, on Barker's Island in Superior, WI. Barker's Island is a scenic wayside area where there is plenty to do, and grassy green spaces to enjoy. Barker's Island was created out of dredge spoils in the early 20th century. Nearby are benches to watch the Lake Superior shipping traffic, the S.S. Meteor whaleback ship, garden area, bandshell and this wonderful playground.

All children who play in this park are under the watchful eyes of Erik and Paul Narveson.
Thier cheerful smiles will be missed but their presence will live on forever.
