The Worthen Bank Building was built in 1928. The building was designed by architect George R. Mann in a Neoclassical style with Art Deco details. The Worthen Bank was founded in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1877. The bank moved from this building in 1970 with the construction of a new bank tower. The Worthen Bank was acquired by Boatmen's Bank of St. Louis in 1995 and is now part of Bank of America.
In 1970 KATV-7, the local ABC affiliate station moved into the building where it remains today.
