Located in the historic Samuel Dickeson House, the Pilesgrove-Woodstown Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the history of these Salem County communities. The house and grounds keep a large collection of documents and artifacts from the area, and is open for research by appointment and regularly on Saturdays from 10-1.
Yearly the Historical Society sponsors "Woodstown by Candlelight" during the holiday season, usually the first weekend in December. This is a walking tour of historic Woodstown where you can enter a number of the Victorian homes along Main Street as they are decorated for Christmas. highly recommended if you are in the area!!
