According to Pennsylvania Railroad Stations Past and Present there was a station here until 1968, when it was demolished (see their web site for an old photograph of the station).

In approximately 1972, I took a train to this station when it was Penn Central. What I recall is a long building that ran parallel to the existing platform. It was nondescript, run-down, and looked more like a freight house than a passenger station.
