Hall may not be a name you recognize but the company he founded, Hallmark, does business in 100 countries and had $4 billion in revenue in 2009. In 1910 he went to Kansas City with two shoe boxes of post cards to sell after dropping out of high school. This was the start of the largest greeting card company in the world.
