The British Nuclear Test Veterans Association was formed in 1983. The memorial is dedicated to those who served at nuclear test sites. Often these men would be subject to ill effects from the testing.
On the memorial are the locations of nuclear testing. It is a grotto style memorial with shell decorations. This is a replica of the memorial on Christmas Island.
