This entire park is a non-specific veterans memorial. It is a gorgeous park featuring a huge veterans memorial, a lake and lots of beautiful scenery. There is also a pavilion for parties and other activities. The road in is also a veteran memorial.

When you pull in you will notice this park has two names, Veterans Park, which was dedicated on December 31, 1984, and Franklin G. Atkinson, Jr. Memorial Park. The park is more known as Veterans Park. The road is dedicated as a veterans memorial called Veterans Lane. You would park on the right in the lot about 50 feet ahead. There is a bridge which leads over the small lake. To your left is the memorial, over the rise is a time capsule made for the country's bicentennial and beyond that the local police station.
The park is all about scenery. There are no swings, playgrounds or anything else to keep the kids busy. No, this park has great scenery, some benches and exists solely to recognize war veterans.
There is absolutely no record or direct mention of this park ANYWHERE on the internet. It is like it does not exist. Records show this area as either Washington Twp, Blackwood or possible Sewell. The TD Bank Arts Center, a hundred or so feet away is listed as both in Sewell and Washington Twp.
The non-mention of this park is particularly weird as the park is emaculate, well-kept to the point of it being pristine and the memorial and every other little detail, and their are a lot of them, look brand new despite decades of existence.
