This waymark requires a team effort.
What you will need:
- A GPS
- A friend at his/her computer with an internet connection.
- A mobile phone or money/calling card for the pay phones nearby.
Optional Items:
- Signs, Banners, or Flags
- Travel Bugs
- Other unique items
How to find and log this webcam:
- Go to the coordinates of this cache.
- The coordinates get you in the general area of the waymark. They are not exact coordinates telling you where you should stand. You, with the help of your friend, will need to hunt for this waymark.
- Call your friend and have them go to this image, http://images.earthcam.com/ec_metros/ourcams/fridays.jpg.
This images does not auto-refresh. They must click REFRESH in thier
browser to update the picture.
- If that page itsn't working go to this page at http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/
and click on CAM 4, and then Enlarge Image. Only the enlarged image version is able to be right clicked upon and saved to the hard drive.
- Have your friend guide you as to where to stand for the best picture. This should be as close to the camera as possible so that we can all see who you are. Then...
- Smile for the camera and wait for an update! (this webcam updates a couple times a minute)
- When your friend sees a good webcam picture, have them right click on the webcam picture and save the image to their hard drive.
- Then have them email you a copy of the saved file so that...
- When you make your log entry you include the picture in the log entry.
Rulez:
- 1 - Upload a photo taken by this webcamera. Slightly photoshopped photos are allowed. Photos taken with other nearby webcameras are not allowed.
- B - Only log this once. If you visit here again you can upload the additional photos to your original log entry. But, please do not log more than one find.
