The post was chartered on June 8th, 1939, and has grown considerably to include 640 members today. The post is used for rentals as there was some kind of affair going on when I visited. Also, out front is a really nice World War memorial and a huge, giant gun. It is some type of artillery weapon but I am not sure what kind.
