Personal Experience:
I drove up to the home on a waymarking expedition. Sadly, this home, while apparently still lived in, is in a state of disrepair. There is no marker at the site mentioning the Van Dyke's.

Other information about area:
Go have a burger at Hometown Stars McDonald's at http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM8YXG_Hometown_Stars_McDonalds_Danville_IL and see more about Dick & Jerry. Also take a ride on Gilbert or Vermilion to see the signs honoring Danville natives. Drive up to WDAN radio station, where Dick was employed early in his career, see waymark.
