Anchor is located among many nautical and maritime displays and artifacts in Canal Park, Duluth MN. Canal park is a must see place, located on the shores of Lake Superior and the Port of Duluth. Visitors can observe, up close, ships from over the world enter and leave the port. Also at the park is a boardwalk, paved biking trail, restaurants, vendors, Aerial Lift Bridge, tugboat, benches, Lake Superior Maritime Marine Museum and so much more.

Modern Ship Propeller
This propellor wheel is typical of those
used to drive lakes freighters. It measures 14 feet 3 inches
in diameter and weighs over 11 tons; being made of a special bronze alloy, its value exceeds $10,000. The propeller was removed from
the 520 foot ore-carrier Charles S. Hebard
which was built in 1906 and scrapped 60 years later
