The De Soto County Courthouse and the surrounding properties constitute the Hernando Courthouse Square District in downtown Hernando, Mississippi.
The courthouse was constructed in 1941 and the commercial properties on the outside of the square are considerably older.
This Historic District was included in the National Register of Historic in 1998.
