This is a monument dedicated to the veterans of all wars. It is located on the front lawn of the Riverdale Public School at 52 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ 07457.

The stone portion of the monument was presented by the Lions Club of Riverdale, NJ on May 30, 1961. This is a stone brick base with a brass plaque and a marble stone mounted on the base.
The stone etching reads as follows:
DEDICATED
TO VETERANS OF
ALL WARS
The plaque on the base has a Lions Club symbol and reads:

MAY 30, 1961
There is a plaque that was later attached to the marble stone that was Dedicated by the Riverdale Memorial VFW Post 10418. It lists those who died in World War II and in Vietnam.
It reads as follows:
