Located in the Crown Hill Cemetery & Mausoleum located on Dawson Dr, just north of Forest Glen Dr in Albany, GA. Many service men and women are buried near this monument.

The monument consists of 5 large marble columns. Each column is engraved with the symbol for one of the 5 branches of the service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard.
There is a piece the bridges all five columns engraved with “Dedicated to those who gave their lives in the cause of Freedom”. A low hedge surrounds the monument.There is a US Flag that flies over the monument.
This cemetery also has a section dedicated to several British Pilot that died while in training to become pilots in the Albany area during World War II. The blue RAF flag flies over this section of the cemetery.
