This plaque is dedicated to the more than 1,700,000 men and women of Georgia who severed in WW I, WW II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf and the Cold War. It lists how many men and women from Georgia served in each of the wars, the number, Killed in action (KIA), wounded in action (WIA), taken prisoner (POW) and missing in action (MIA). In also provide additional information on POWs and MIAs in these wars and in the American Revolution and Civil Wars. This plaque is a great educational resource.
