This impressive Carillon and Town Clock is located at the City of Westminster's City Hall and Public Safety facilities. The bells are a stationary set of chromatically tuned bells. This is a full carillon – third largest in the State, after the University of Denver and Johnson & Wales University (http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM5Z7H_Charles_S_Hill_Memorial_Carillon_Denver_CO). It is known as one of the most beautiful and finely tuned in the Western US.

The carillon started out in 1986 with just 14 bells; the additional 10 were added in 1998. It is played by electric keyboard; the bells are stationary, only the clappers move. Bell Foundries are only in Europe; these bells came from Holland. The bells are composed of mostly pure copper and range in diameter from 10 1/2" to 25".

The goal of Westminster's Carillon is to be:
"Voice for the hopes, aspirations and joys of humankind
Vital cultural resource; provides an enriching community activity; work of art, an object of lasting beauty."

Note: Some of the above information came from the City of Westminster.
