There is no plaque or name attached to this aviary. It is maintained by the South West Avicultural Society and contains a number different types of parrot. There was an aviary at this location when the old Library was here. When the Library was demolished and the new one built, the aviary was also removed and refurbished. There is no admission charge as it sits in the grounds of the Library near the Senior Citizens Centre. During the day many people can be seen enjoying the birds. Warning signs are on the aviary to deter people from putting their fingers in the cage...parrots bite.
