The memorial is a bronze statue of a man on a stone pedestal. There is a bronze plaque on the pedestal. Nearby is a sign describing some of the work of the CCC.

This monument is dedicated to the honor and memory of over three million members who served in the Civilian Conservation Corps, 1933 – 1942 and To the members who built South Carolina’s State Park System
