Schützenmattpark - Basel, Switzerland - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

This park was established in 1899 on the area of a former shooting range (that's what the name means). It's not the largest but one of the most poular parks in town.

It has a large green field surrounded by old trees that is used for different kinds of sports, a playground, a fountain kids can enter in summer, a cafeteria and two newstands in the corners.

The coordinates are the Northwestern entrance near the tramway stations.
