Located just east of the Montevallo campus, there are dozens of these little sculptures in this park. The best carving spots on these cedar trees may not always face the sidewalk so look around. There is a chilly limestone spring that runs through the park. Nice on a hot day. You'll see animals of all types, some mythical some not, Vikings, cigar store Indians, and others as you walk about.
Type of wood carving: Chainsaw, grinder, chisel & carving tools
Other type: Most of these are on dead or dying cedar trees. Some are on stumps and some are freestanding on pedestals.
 Approximate size/height: six feet high
 Type of wood: Cedar
 Artist's Name: Not listed
