Freestone Park is located in Gilbert, AZ on the East side of Lindsay Rd., just South of Guadalupe Rd. The park is open daily from 5:30am to 10pm.
The 65 acre park opened in 1988 and is dedicated to Thomas L. Freestone for "his outstanding service as a Maricopa County Supervisor and for his loyalty and friendship to the citizens of Gilbert".
The park features a central fountain that leads to two large ponds. Additionally the park contains various amenities including: open space, childrens playgrounds, miniature railroad and carnival, soccer fields, softball and baseball fields, beach volleyball pits, batting cages, basketball courts, tennis courts, a skate park, and walking trails.
