We enjoyed a pleasant meal in The Queen's Head with our friends. The menu has a good variety of options and some good deals. The interior of the pub is done in good taste with comfortable chairs.
There is a hole in the floor in the end of the building which is where dart's players used to stand, go and have a look. There are pictures of Glenn Miller on the walls as it was in Milton Ernest Hall nearby that the Americans were stationed in WWII. It was from the local airfield at Twinwoods that Glenn Miller left for his fateful flight.
The Queen's Head offers real ale, good food, accommodation and pleasant surroundings. It belongs to Greene King.
