This bridge is no longer in service but is used for access to a pumping station.

This bridge crosses an old bend in the Trinity River. When the levee was put it this bend was cut off. The river now flows by just north of this location. Handley Ederville road was moved east a few hundred yards and now connects to Bridge Steet.
There is also a benchmark on the north abutment. The benchmark was monumented in 1946 but I am not sure if that is when the bridge was built.
