The Gothic Mikulovice Gate (Mikulovická brána), also called "Saint / Svatá", is only preserved gate of the Kadan town's medieval fortification system.
The Gate-tower belongs to the inner zone of the Kadan fortification, which was built in the second half of the 14th century. The depicted tower was a part of the extensive multi-gate Gothic complex demolished in 1862. On the outer gate's facade are still visible slots of the portcullis.
