A marker honoring an early publisher is not too far away from the current offices of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Listed as "missing," it's been replaced!

Marker Text: Pioneering editor and publisher who issued first edition of Pittsburgh Gazette, 1786. First newspaper west of Alleghenies, it became the Post-Gazette, 1927. A Berks County native, he was active in Western PA's civic affairs; home and print shop were here.
I enjoy finding a historic marker when the database says it's missing. Apparently the original was torn down when a bus stop shelter was built on that street corner. But the article linked below explains how a persistent reporter raised funds to build a replacement marker!
