Early-Baroque Palace of Hložeks of Žampach (Palác Hložku ze Žampachu), which is serving nowadays as residence of the Austrian ambassador, you can find in Kanovnická street not so far from the Prague Castle.
Palace of Hložeks of Žampach, built at the site of older Gothic and Renaissance houses around year 1673, is early-Baroque two-storey structure formed by a long main building, constructed on a relatively narrow plot at kanovnická street. Th Palace is equipped by two short wings oriented into gardens and courtyard, the wstern wing is higher than the eastern one. The main facade, oriented to Kanovnická street, is decorated by ediculate portal with Hložeks of Žampach coat of arms.
