A visit to Progressive Field (or the Jake, as most native Clevelanders will always call it), would not be complete without a visit to Heritage Park. The park, which is located in Right-Center Field, near Gate C, as a tribute to Indians past and present.

This two-tiered hall of fame is complete with plaques honoring Indians (and Baseball) greats from the early 1900's on. The first tier honors those players who are both in the Indians hall of fame, as well as the National Baseball Hall of Fame, located in Cooperstown, Ny. Names such as Cy Young, Satchel Page, and Larry Doby can be found on this tier.

The second tier is players who have been inducted to just the Indians hall of fame. Names such as Sandy Alomar Jr, Charles Nagy, and can be found on this tier. Also located on this tier is a wall of name/signature plaques of the top 100 Indians of all-time. Many of the teams best players can be found on this wall. The last name of record placed on this wall was Omar Vizquel, the great defensive short stop, whose name was placed here after the 2004 season.

Both levels have inscribed bricks on the bottom showing outstanding achievements from players, as well as bricks purchased by fans to have their name forever inscribed in Indians baseball.
