The memorial is an ingraved granite slab, flag pole and a bronze plaque located in Gardendale Memorial Park on US Hwy 31 in Gardendale, AL. An Alabama flag was flying on the pole the day I found the memorial. Included in Gardendale Memorial Park is the Gardendale Veterans Memorial, a 75mm Pack Howitzer and a US Navy Anchor (all waymarks).
