Located in the new Blessing Building in Olde Towne Gaithersburg, this restaurant is a very welcome addition to pizza restaurants in the area. Unlike the national franchises, Slice of Olde Towne serves up genuine NY-style pizza - buttery cheese and a thin crust pie sliced wide enough to fold (not in 12 slices like the chains). The Sicilian thick crust pie is delicious too.
Pizzas can be made to order with toppings of your choice. Stromboli, calzone, garlic knots, heroes and pastas are also on the menu. If you are familiar with these you need no further coaxing to come here. If you don't know what they are, you owe it to yourself to try them for a treat.
Catering is available but no delivery of individual pies.
