One of our favorite restaurants in Iwakuni. It's a little off the beaten path, but very easy to get to. Right across from the train station there is a mini-hondori street type shopping mall. All the way down on the left.
You can watch the cooks prepare sish-kabobs & nan right from the front window. There are four flavors of nan - plain, cheese, garlic, garlic & cheese (yeah I know original). Ganesh has family sets (combo meals) that are reasonably inexpensive, yet will fill you up.
Remember to order the rice on the side. It doesn't come with the curry. Also, look on the back of the menu, that is where the spicyness categories are. I've eaten a 6 and it was HOT! I stay around 5.
If you can arrive at Ganesh by 1730, you should not have to wait for a seat or a server. After that and until 2000 or so, the restaurant is full of people.
