Kohl’s Ranch Lodge is a rustic getaway from the summer heat of the low Arizona deserts. The lodge is situated in a forested valley below the Mogollon Rim of Central Arizona, about twenty minutes northeast of Payson, Arizona and about two hours from Phoenix and the Valley of the Sun. The lodge features creekside cabins for small and large groups. In addition to local outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and fossil collecting, guests of the lodge enjoy an outdoor heated swimming pool, a lounge, a restaurant, and a play area. At the end of the day, the Zane Grey Steakhouse & Saloon awaits the famished.
