The Cleveland suburb of Cleveland Heights grew rapidly in the 1920's and 1930's. Completed in 1931, Station #3 was the second of two large, brick stations built to provide fire protection for the growing city.
By the late 1970's the city of Cleveland Heights decided newer, modern stations were required to serve the needs of the city. Station #3 was retired from service in 1982. The building was re-purposed as a series of restaurants. It finally became the home to Lee-Silsby Compounding Pharmacy.
