This mural gives the appearance of looking out several three story high arched windows to a beach scene and the Golden Gate Bridge. This mural, titled "Reflections" by John Wehrle, is a mirror image of the view that one would see at Baker Beach in San Francisco. If the Golden Gate Bridge, as shown, were on your left with a beach to it's right, this would normally put you on the inside (bayside) of the Golden Gate. But this image is reversed. To see this image as it would actually appear at Baker Beach on the outer side of the Golden Gate, one would have to use a mirror to correctly view the image. The rock on the right side whimsically appears to be on the viewer side of the arch windows.

This mural can be seen in Google Street View.

UPDATE: I noticed on a San Francisco mural website that the building on which this mural was painted has been demolished. The building will be replaced by a 9-story, 85-foot tall building with a basement level parking garage, creating up to 179 dwelling units, approximately 5,281 square feet of ground floor commercial space along 5th Street.
