Dedicated to the Pioneers of the Thames Goldfields on the 1st August 1967 commemorating 100 years. James Mckay, civil commissioners & first warden, Te Hoterene Taipari & Wirope Hoterene Tipari, Principal Chiefs arranged the opening of the Thames Goldfields.
